Dr. Mark Surrey is a highly experienced physician and medical researcher who has authored numerous publications in leading peer-reviewed journals, including Fertility and Sterility and Assisted Reproduction and Sorting Journal.

As an active leader in his field, he is a former president of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists (AAGL), the largest minimally invasive gynecology association in the United States and a leading organization of its kind worldwide.

He is also a former president of the Pacific Coast Reproductive Society, an association of IVF specialists in the Western United States. As a leading figure in laparoscopic reconstructive surgery, Dr. Surrey continues to perform extensive training and procedures in IVF, preimplantation genetic diagnosis (PGD), pelvic reconstructive surgery, microsurgery, and laparoscopic reconstructive surgery.
